20 Criteria for Your Success – Part 3

June 2, 2013

13. The strength to maintain your independence: Independent acting for most tasks in life is a prerequisite. If the ability to develop this fails, success at school and later professional success may be at high risk. Even in teamwork  independent work and thinking is expected. People with success orientation rely primarily on themselves, they act naturally and confidently taking the responsibility for their actions.

14. The strength to overcome personal difficulties: Personal crises usually affect all areas of life, even professional life. Performance-oriented people have realized, that it was not the right way to avoid personal difficulties as well as unpleasant situations, yet they separate their work and private life as much as possible.

15.The ability to concentrate on your goals: Intelligence is not a prerequisite for concentration. Many people never manage to get some time to focus only on one thing. Success-oriented persons are able to focus without too much trouble on the important things. They know the conditions under which they can operate most effectively, and provide this to their own advantage.

16. The ability to find the right balance between overload and under load for themselves: Too much ambition can be harmful: Who is overrated and exacts too much, will hardly achieve his/her goals despite dedication and hard work. Just as harmful may be under-challenged, as personal qualities are not used as they should be, and in addition opportunities may be missed. People with a winning spirit  know how to use their capacities best and also share their time to improve performance correctly.

17. The strength to develop patience in waiting is rewarded: In order to achieve success you need to see it as a lengthy process using the legitimate desire for appropriate recognition, even if  the reward is for a long time often ignored. This desire brings many people to participate only in tasks that are to be realized in a relatively short time, while larger, longer-term projects are designed to remain unrealized. Although people with successful intelligence perceive the small rewards of life, however, they  focus primarily on the things that give them the greatest long-term achievement.

How are you  getting along  to implement  these points?

They are important if we are a freelance,  an entrepreneur or even an employee. However, everyone who applies for a job can use these points to further develop his/ her strengths.

20 Criteria for Success

May 19, 2013

1. The ability to be able to motivate yourself: What is meant here is the will to succeed. There are basically two categories of motivation: the inner and the outer. To include external factors such as recognition or material incentives. However, this makes the necessary actions dependent on circumstances  which one has no or only a minor impact. The motivation from within yourself (e.g. job satisfaction), however, is more effective, because it reduces dependence on external factors. On performance-based people are certainly the ones who can combine both types of motivation conveniently together.

2.  The ability to control impulses: Impulsive reactions are nothing unusual, and in some situations quite necessary. Nevertheless, the immediate reaction of inner impulses lead to ill-considered actions and prevent existing skills actually be implemented. People with focus on success therefore act – if needed – quickly, but otherwise rather from their experience, and after a time of weighing out.

3.  Knowing the need of perseverance and endurance: Endurance is certainly among the most important factors of success. Who resigned too quickly, will never be able to achieve his/her goals. Who, however – despite obvious futility – sticks  too long to one thing blocking himself unnecessarily in his life. So success-oriented people act and recognize when perseverance is needed, and this must not be limited to professional life. In other parts of life, as in the repeated wooing a man in love, with a realistic degree of persistence can lead to the desired result.

4.  The awareness of being able to make the best of your abilities: First, it is important to recognize his/ her abilities at all, e.g. by the experiences collected in professional life. People with success orientation draw their own conclusions and change, if possible, in a profession that matches their abilities best.

5.  The ability to turn ideas into action: The best ideas ultimately lead to nothing if they remain grey theory. Performance-oriented people have learned that their ideas need to be followed by deeds. Interestingly, for this ability there is not always a need of a high IQ: While people with higher IQ in more relaxed situations show leadership rather than people with low IQ, this is often reversed during stress.

6.  The ability to act result-oriented: “The journey is the destination.” This wisdom is not true, when it comes to success orientation. In this case, the result is rather crucial. People with success orientation, although still interested for the process of the course, lay their actual concentration in the product that has to be generated. They act very much result oriented.

Take 100% responsibility for your life

February 5, 2012

“You must take personal responsibility. You can notice the circumstances, the seasons nor the wind does change, only you yourself can change “~ Jim Rohn

The most widespread myth in modern times is that we firmly believe that we have a right to a great life – that somehow, somewhere, someone (certainly not us) enriches our lives with continual happiness, exciting career, wonderful options and a relaxed family time as well as blissful personal relationships that only exist because we exist. You can do this only if you are actively working for these goals.
Because the truth is that there is only one person is responsible for the quality of your life.

That person is YOU.

If you want to be successful and achieve your goals, you have to take 100% responsibility for everything that happens in your life. This includes your level of performance, the results you produce, the quality of your relationships, your state of health and physical fitness, your income, your debts, your feelings – everything!
Most of us have been conditioned, however, that we blame anyone, anything outside of ourselves for the things in our lives that are not good. We blame our parents, our teachers, our boss, the media, our employees, our partners, the weather, politics or economics. Does blaming change anything in your life? Absolutely nothing, because you always have to remember that only your thoughts are responsible for your reality. And therefore the only thing you need to do, if you want to change something, take responsibility. There is no other way.
I found the following simple formula by Jack Canfield:

E + R= O

Event + Response = Outcome

The idea is that every outcome is determined by the event and the response. It does not matter whether it is success or failure, wealth or poverty, health or sickness, fun or frustration. If you think the result is not good, there are only two possibilities:
First You can give the event the blame for the lack of results.
In other words, you can blame everybody: your spouse, your children, society, your boss, your colleagues, the crisis of politics or the lack of support. These factors are there, no doubt, but if this were the deciding factor never anyone would be successful.

Bill Gates would never have founded Microsoft; Daniel Vettel never won the Grand Prix. Steve Jobs never would have put Apple in place. They certainly have had the same circumstances and become successful anyway. You can join them, if you take responsibility.

Blaming others you set yourself limits. Assigning guilt means that you give up or do not dare to succeed. Many people leave the so-called limiting factors behind them, so it cannot be the factors that limit you. The reasons on the outside are not keeping you away from success, it is always YOU. You limit yourself, because when you put your thoughts and barriers up, you fall into the defending behavior. We defend ourselves even with self-destructive habits (like smoking and drinking) with inexcusable logic.

Analyze your behavior and make a list of positive and negative habits. The next step is to capture the thoughts, which create the negative habits. Only when you change these thoughts, you can reach success.

Next Step is following

Successful thinking and acting

January 22, 2012

Thoughts and attitudes

The inner game of success largely depends on your thoughts, beliefs and feelings.
Key factor is the change of your thoughts. You have to think not only positive, but think, feel and act like a millionaire.

Because

“You do not need more energy to live a life of abundance, than leading a life in poverty!” Napoleon Hill

So you have the choice! You do not need continue with a life that you’re living it now. If there is more you want to have or experience in this life then change your mind.
Everybody wants more money. Why, however, are there only 10 million millionaires worldwide. These are 0.15% of the world’s population.

We believe that the most millionaires are in the U.S. There are only 5% that are successful and 95% of entrepreneurs who are unsuccessful. In the rest of the world situation is similar or even worse.

What but the 5% do differently?

There are millionaires with a university degree and those with very little training.
There are millionaires who were born rich. And there are millionaires who were once homeless and bankrupt.

There are millionaires in developed countries, but also in poor nations. There are plumbers who are millionaires, and doctors who starve. The most esoteric people are poor.

There is only one quality that distinguishes the rich people …

Wealthy people understand the world and use the Law of Attraction in their daily lives.
They understand that abundance is there to share it. It’s not about winning and losing – there is enough for all of us! We could all be rich. The universe represents abundance and it will always be like that.

We human beings must learn to develop the correct thought process to attract wealth.

How do you feel in terms of wealth?

Believe me it is not possible to lead a full life, unless you’re rich. In order to develop your soul and to develop your  talents, it takes a lot and there are things you cannot  buy without the necessary money.

How do you feel with this statement?

Write down your spontaneous answers. They are hints for your blockages.

Many people feel uncomfortable talking about money. Your feeling is a conscious perception of vibration in yourself. If you feel uncomfortable, to believe that you deserve to be rich, it is because the idea is foreign to you and not anchored in your subconscious mind.
I’ll help you on your feelings to work, until the thought that feels good.

Have you ever noticed that wealthy people feel very comfortable talking about money? Rich people know that wealth is necessary to do great things. You know, that it depends on their physical presence to do something good without money. In addition, money is always needed.

At one point in their life they made a decision to expand their physical boundaries – they offer their services or products to a wider audience and make them accessible. And when they did so, the wealth started automatically.

You must just leave your comfort zone! Start to think BIG!

What does competition mean for you?

September 25, 2011

There are competitors that have the same or similar products or services that you have also offer. First this is the lowest common factor between you and your colleagues on the marketplace.
It is only competition when you try to be successful by copying your colleagues. Be sure that you will not achieve better results than them.
Market analysis is an important step. To decide what you offer and how you want to set your prices, you need to know what your competitors offer in the marketplace. That is one component only. You need to gather more knowledge so you can develop your “secret weapon”. Sometimes to know a little bit of the private areas of your direct competitors, can be great.
You need to know at what terms they offer, the way the others offer their goods / their service. Then you can create your terms and settings to be different.
– How many competitors are there in your area?
– How potent is your competitor?
– How long and how successful are the others on the market?
Now we come to the customer:
– How do your competitors advertise?
– What do customers expect?
– How often are the clients buying from them?
– How large is the business area?
The most important thing is that you are defining yourself not on price, because then you have lost anyway. You need to have a lot of money you can invest if you want to compete on price!
How can you offer you business differently?
– Who are you?
– What do you sell?
– Why are you in this business?
– What are you doing for your customers?
The important question is how you can be different! What additional services can you offer?
Here’s an example:
The owner of a fabric and wool shop offers her customers to come in with any question. She helps with knitting socks and sweaters as well when there are questions while sewing. With this personal service she has clients who recommend her business.
The same way you can specialize yourself as an employee of a company. It’s not worth anything to go into competition, because you always feel small and incompetent. Everybody has their strengths and weaknesses. Concentrate on your strengths and increase your strength.

Do not waste time and energy in competition. Develop yourself further and stop fighting!

What are fears and where do they come from?

August 20, 2011

It is fact that most people grew up with fears and worries and consider that as normal. Therefore they consider that these intense feelings are a part of their life as breathing is. This we have absorbed almost as the breast milk. So if we do not know anything else, it seems to us that to be the most normal thing in the world.

Yes, and not even if we are seriously ill, we know the causes behind illness. We just do not want to look behind the reasons, just because we or our subconscious knows nothing else. If you do not want to let your subconscious mind to govern your life, it means irrevocably that you will have to take action and responsibility for your life! On the other hand, who has told you as a child that is possible to lead life without any worries? As an adult that cannot be an excuse. We all strive for inner peace, but do not find the way. That may change now, if you are ready to take responsibility.
The very first step is the will to accept responsibility for your thoughts, feelings and actions. Stop at once to blame others for your plight. It is not your partner, your children, your boss, politics, crisis, or even your parents. It is only you who can reach different results in your life. And only you decide which way you go. Do you choose the way to a juicy and more successful life or the way to illness or even depression?

“Who does not know how to fight fear and worry, dies early” ~ Dr. Alexis Carrel

Worries and anxieties play a role in high blood pressure, heart and stomach ailments, even at rheumatism.
Your reality reflects your thoughts. So change your thoughts and stay healthy!

A Life without Goals

July 10, 2011

In our time more and more people live without concrete targets. These people let themselves be driven and lead an inactive life. These are people in unemployment and with social support, but even people with good jobs who are trapped in a hamster wheel. Thus, they are no longer active, but go with the flow in their job and their life demands.

But you know deep inside yourself that you would have to change something. You even notice that you and your family are not doing well. You had at some point targets that are buried in everyday life: Job – House – Family-Debt – Disease. This is an eternal cycle that can only be broken when you do it actively. You have to change and take responsibility.

Anyone who moves in circles always has the same thoughts, feelings and actions and nothing can change nor improve. You only produced the same results again and again. The stream of everyday life drives you downwards into illnesses, burnout, depression and even suicide, as you no longer manage to turn the boat without any active decision.

It only helps when you to stop right here and now and take conscious responsibility. You have to take responsibility for your thoughts, feelings and actions. In addition, there are always multiple perspectives to assess a situation. Every coin has two sides. It is your responsibility to decide yourself! Do not complain for the lack of results, simply alters your thinking!
